run bike swim beat cancer

Well…..I would have if my van hadn’t broken down on the way up to get Rory. So it was too late to get my hair cut by the time we were rescued by Sir Chrisalot and Angalahad 😭 But tomorrow it is definitely, definitely happening !!! :-))))

My hair is coming out in handfuls now – it’s not too scary as I’ve been here before, but I remember it was so horrible the first time round, it even felt disgusting

The good news is that I am hungry, probably even hangry !!?

I managed a 5 mile run yesterday morning in the howling wind – it was also 17’C – I was roasting !! I went fairly steady. I definitely feel tired running – not surprisingly. I think that 5 mile distance and effort was just on the limit. I need to take it easier now to give my body the chance to get to its best before chemo next week.

This morning I volunteered at parkrun; we had special guests today – Joe Wicks was doing a ‘Walk with Joe’ in conjunction with Children in Need, so we had Joe and Pudsey there !!! 708 runners and walkers :-)) there was a fantastic atmosphere and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves ❤️🚶🏼🏃🏃‍♀️🚶‍♀️😎
