2023 stats 🤩
RUN = 1361.96 miles (2022 = 1200.45 miles)
BIKE = 2819.72 miles (2022 = 1970.52 miles)
SWIM = 7815 lengths (2022 = 4502 lengths)

I think 2023 has been pretty good for training and races. I finished chemo at the very start of the year and have been building up, and down, since then – I had a wee blip in March – too much training, too soon in Feb and ended up injured (doh !!), all good after that though. I feel like I am on a bit of a plateau now – not getting any faster, so just trying to stay consistent. I have my indoor bike trainer and feel a bit stronger on the bike, and have managed to (now the Olympia is open) have a couple of swims a week.
Training(ish) now for the two middle distance tris this year, so starting to add on some miles without breaking myself before I get to June !!
I had a mammogram in December and haven’t heard back yet – I’m assuming no news is good news🤞🤞🤞. I always worry about the non-boob side aswell – I know I’ve said before – it can’t be mammogramed – so who knows what is going on in there !! still…..positive thinking – all is fine :-))
As well as training (and oh yeh, working !! 😢) I have been baking :-))))
THE BEST BROWNIE !!!! no – even if I do says so myself – it was incredible !!! :-)))
And I made an ice-cream cake for Rory – as requested :-)) (don’t upset me – he’s away back to NZ 😪😥💔❤💙) it was also pretty awesome :-))
There was also a cookie dough trifle O..M..G
And a banana bread (of course) with choc chips – yum – lasted about 4 hours.
