What a start to 2023 !! What a flipping disaster.

I’ve been in Ninewells since Hogmanay. It’s definitely the worst I’ve felt in any of these chemo rounds. Sorry Chris, you had to put up with it all this time !! Did I spew on your feet ??? (Could have been worse ?!!)

I felt kind of similar to the last time it all went pear shaped – cold, shivery, high temperature, felt sick, felt really weak and light headed, diarrhoea, terrible stomach cramps, sore lower back…not great !!

I had to get Chris to hold me up while I sat on the toilet because I felt like I was passing out the whole time – also I was spewing at the same time !!…really not great. (Sorry Chris😳😬)

I felt really out of it and couldn’t cope with feeling so awful, so Chris phoned the Oncology team and they said to come straight in. I lay in the back of the van, my own private ambulance – it felt like the longest journey ever

IV antibiotics, anti-sickness medication, fragmin injection, fluids and painkillers and I’m feeling much better and am at home – huraaayyyyy !!!!

Antibiotics, rest, tea and toast, relax and recover.

So….now…the only way is up – soooooo excited 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

So my body and brain have decided that they are feeling a lot better, so much so, that they didn’t want to sleep at all last night – at all !! I maybe dozed for about 20 minutes !!! What is that all about ???

So I lay thinking all sorts of random thoughts but I think I had a great idea for an event 🙂

I thought I could do a charity pizza day !!

DO YOU WANT A PIZZA THE CHARITY ACTION ?

Either at home or hire a marquee at Monikie, we can set up the pizza oven and sell whole pizzas and slices of pizza. Also I made these brilliant blueberry muffins recently I could sell them too.

We could have a Tombola and a book stall :-))

All day on a Saturday / Sunday maybe a whole weekend.

You could cycle there, run there !? drive up , go for a walk and have bit of pizza / cake 🍕 🧁
