run bike swim beat cancer

Saturday morning I was tailwalker at parkrun. It was raining (it never rains at parkrun!) and I really enjoyed the walk and the chat on the way round, and the chat in the cafe afterwards – it was lovely to catch up with friendly faces :-))

The sore head was still there but not too bad, and the stomach troubles were under control with my new best friend Imy !

Saturday afternoon I spent chilling and watching rugby with my lovely family xxxx love you guys xxxx

Saturday evening – M3 tri club awards night. Boobarella made her debut on the party scene. I had a super slinky red satin dress and Boobarella looked pretty good !! :-))) Chris was looking fabulous in his quiet, understated shirt :-)))

I struggled to eat – I’d ordered prawn cocktail (I had 2 prawns !! and some of the bread/butter), steak pie and chips (I ate all the chips and the gravy !) and cheesecake – a light moussey cheesecake (I ate half of it) – Chris ate well 😉

It was a fantastic, fun and funny night – as always. These guys really are like a big family. I was presented with the President’s Award, and I wanted to let everyone know how much their support really means, but I was too emotional, and couldn’t speak :-//

And there was the most hilarious auction for all sorts of ‘interesting’ items, with all the proceeds going to Cancer Research. About £800 raised !! These guys really are the best of people xxxx
